Our Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors just announced the recent market activity numbers. There were 1,026 signed purchase agreements for the week ending August 15. That’s the most since 2005. There were 25,765 active listings for sale, which was the lowest since 2005. There were the fewest number of new listings for that week since 2002. All of these numbers relate to the Regional Multiple Listing Service, which we belong to and covers an area from about Hudson, WI west to Hutchinson, MN. These numbers are good indicators that the housing market is on track for a healthy recovery!
